Dear all,
mAAN*Y, a biennal architecture event conceived as a flexible platform for the exchange of fresh ideas in the advancement of modern Asian Architecture kicks off its series of events today.
A 3-part event comprising of an international competition, a workshop and a conference, the inaugural mAAN*Y event will be held in Singapore starting from March 2010 and is specifically targeted at the younger generation of city builders. Themed “Let’s Not Talk About Architecture”, the event also hopes to bring together individuals and groups from various disciplines to share ideas on how we can shape a more people-centric built environment together. mAAN*Y Singapore 2010 is co-organized by mAAN (http://www.m-aan.org) and Really Architecture (http://www.reallyarchitecture.org), a Singapore-based group of visionary architecture enthusiasts concerned with the development of architecture in the Asian region.
